Client Solutions Front-End Application Developer at Aon Impact Forecasting 

This role is part of the Impact Forecasting, Aon’s catastrophe model development centre. The global Impact Forecasting team of 140 members based in 5 offices around the world (Prague, London, Chicago, Singapore and Bangalore) consists of scientists, model and software developers and client services colleagues. The main function of the team is to develop, maintain, support and promote the use of catastrophe models for various natural and human-made perils including flood, windstorm, earthquake, fire and terrorism.

We are looking for a person to join our Client Solutions team. We seek an enthusiastic person skilled in React.js and .NET core to join our development team working on web application providing access to Impact Forecasting’s catastrophe models for (re)insurance.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Developing the application web UI in React.js
  • Working closely with designers and back-end developers in C# .NET
  • Proactively implement user feedback
  • Align with internal standards and best practices
  • Following DevOps processes, team collaboration using agile and GIT

To apply for this offer, you should have/be:

  • Considerable knowledge of front-end applications architecture
  • Well versed in React.js and .NET core
  • Experience with MS Azure application deployment
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written English, other languages are also welcome (even basic Czech is an advantage as the core team is based in Prague)
  • Technical and analytical mindset, willingness to learn new technologies and collaborate in team
